What is Sharathon?  A Celebration!
 This year, we celebrate 25 years of Helping You Find Joy!   We are a non-profit, listener-supported radio station.  That means listeners just like you financially support this ministry.  Your gifts and donations are what allow us to do tomorrow what we did today.

I was about to take my life when I felt like God spoke to me through a song on The JOY FM.

I gave my heart to Jesus and The JOY FM was an important part of my decision.

Our marriage was saved and The JOY FM played a role in our reconciliation.

We became Missionaries, Pastors, and Worship-leaders, inspired by God through The JOY FM.

We are involved with ministries for the homeless, help at crisis pregnancy centers, and reach out to those in prison because of something we heard on The JOY FM.
 


History
Twenty-five years ago, the first generous donors, early staff and board of directors had a dream of sharing the love of Jesus using radio.  In 1986 that dream became a reality as The JOY FM began its first broadcast from a small studio in Sarasota.  That was just the beginning.  


Today
The JOY FM is a community of faith connecting people across one-third of the state of Florida and beyond.  People around the world are ‘finding joy’ with their radios, computers and smart phones.  God has expanded the reach of The JOY FM and multiplied its impact many times beyond our wildest dreams.  Since the very beginning, generous faithful supporters like you have made every aspect of this ministry possible.
  

Our Sharathon goal is 4,000 new partners.
