Core Values: Collaboration, Gratitude, Communication, Balance, Ownership Job Summary The Executive Director oversees the daily operations of the organization, providing executive direction of all program strategy, compliance, quality assurance, and program efficiency. This role provides executive support on strategy, development and execution of programmatic effectiveness aimed at advancing and enhancing results. The Executive Director maintains awareness of the external and internal opportunities for expansion, new program developments and standards, client services and key donors. Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Drive Selah Freedoms strategic vision by ensuring operational, therapeutic, and programmatic initiative produce operational effectiveness and optimal results. Work closely with the board of directors and committees, informing, assessing, and addressing issues that affect the organization. Establish mentoring relationships with domestic and global partners to share and expand Selah Freedom’s stellar programmatic model. Identify and implement staffing requirements for efficient operations. Maintain a strong culture and work climate that attracts and retains highly qualified leaders and staff in all functional areas, and drives the organizations mission. Prepares accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate organizational results, variances, and performance trends. Represent the organization and increase awareness by being the spokesperson and liaison with local media. Develop an actionable plan for fundraising and managing monthly cash flow. Ensures that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives. Oversee Clinical Programming Director and Mentorship & Culture Director to ensure training to Mentees, grantees and service providers follow Selah Freedoms proven success model. Drive cohesion between all educational, clinical and contracted expertise to ensure all programs maintain Selah Freedoms effectiveness and excellence. Maintain awareness of the external and internal opportunities for expansion, clients and new program developments and standards. Foster relationships with key (local/state/federal) partners to identify supportive services/permanent housing for clients. Comply with all federal, state, and local legislation. Other duties as assigned.
Education And/or Experience- Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Management, Psychology, and/or Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, and Human Resources. Seven years of senior business and financial management experience in an operational environment, preferably with a non-profit. Seven years experience building relationships and collaborating with local/state partners. Entrepreneurial mindset, with innovative approach to business planning. Dynamic and charismatic team player who enjoys being the public face of an organization. Strong public relations, marketing, and fundraising experience.
