Core Values: Collaboration, Gratitude, Communication, Balance, Ownership Job Summary The Awareness/Volunteer Advocates sole responsibility is to manage volunteers and assist in awareness efforts for Selah Freedom. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Check and process incoming mail Ship purchased items Manage Selah Freedom website, social media, blogs and newsletters Assist with Selah Freedom events and awareness campaigns Assist with donor relations and data entry into donor databases Answer individual and group volunteer phone calls and emails Cultivate volunteers and assign opportunities based on their interests Manage and track onboarding of new volunteers Schedule monthly and annual trainings for volunteers, including but not limited to Care Team and Connect Meetings Manage social media groups and volunteer newsletter Conduct property walk throughs to assess larger scale volunteer projects Manage special events for volunteers and survivors Manage volunteer and Residential calendars to track activities Manage volunteer database and input volunteer hours and activities Coordinate volunteer timesheets and VOCA reporting submissions Other duties as assigned
Education And/or Experience Bachelors Degree, preferred. Previous experience coordinating volunteers, preferred. Social media experience, required. Written and verbal communication skills, required. Public speaking experience, required. Clean driving record, preferred.
