POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting customers and answering incoming calls, including critical interactions related to successful customer service, appointments and sales. Performs other administrative functions as needed. Maintains and projects a positive company image by receiving and greeting clients and visitors. Creates exceptional service experience by ensuring rooms are clean and welcoming. This role is at a startup company so the perfect person will be ready and willing to expand the duties as the company grows. Responsibilities include: Promotes Spa’s products and services while interacting with clients and guest using your knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Acts as greeter to ensure customers are given exceptional customer service. Answering incoming calls promptly and in a courteous manner. Make appointments, assist customers, resolves challenges, sells products and services. Exercises good judgment in representing the company, taking ownership of a guests concern or request, and following through to resolution. Ensures products are stocked and available and displayed accordingly. Reinforces tranquility of brand by keeping spa neat and clean, including work area and service rooms. Assists staff and management in shipping and receiving packages. Ensures packages are removed to appropriate area in a timely manner. Sorts and distributes incoming mail via inter-office mailboxes and notifies management of urgent matters. Attends staff meetings and educational meetings, as scheduled or requested. Provides suggestions and ideas to management related to procedures that impact telephone and guest/ visitor traffic and guest satisfaction and retention.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; good use of eloquent language, grammar, and sentence structure in verbal communications is required. Proven ability to keep a positive, friendly demeanor in a relaxing service environment and provide superior customer service. Demonstrated familiarity with computer systems, in general; An acumen for using technology. Demonstrated attentiveness to details; basic mathematical skills and neat handwriting. Demonstrated ease in interacting and problem solving with guests and clients. Ability to represent the company in a positive way through neat and professional appearance and behavior. Performs other duties as required. High school diploma or equivalent, required. Some college preferred. Two years of experience in salon and spa, retail, sports medicine, medical, call center and/ or related field. A bias for customer satisfaction and teamwork.
