Maintenance Purpose: Will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing ground maintenance for Life Church, Life Church Community Center, and Pastors home. All work will be done in compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary. Do preventative maintenance on facilities Assist staff with remodel projects Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies Complete regular inspections of the facilities and exterior to look for repairs needed Help with special events as needed for equipment Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol Serve the staff and congregation of LC as needed Follow safety protocols based on OSHA standards Perform other maintenance duties as requested by the HR Director, Sr Associate or Lead Pastors Works alongside the other campus facilities personnel to ensure they are adequately equipped to continue maintaining their facilities Housekeeping Purpose: Oversee the housekeeping team to ensure proper cleaning and upkeep of the facilities while building a strong team. Duties & Responsibilities: · Work alongside Lead Housekeeper to ensure the team is running smoothly. · Perform routine performance checks on cleanliness · Assist Lead Housekeeper with scheduling as needed · Assign additional tasks for housekeeping as needed for detailed cleanings · Ensures continual evaluation of the facilities. · Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring vacant positions with HR Director, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; apprising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Accountability: HR Director Hours Expected: 40 hours per week


Key Characteristics: · Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks · Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing · Knowledge of remodeling techniques · A servants heart · Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted · Experience in operating a variety of equipment including small hand tools preferred · Willingness to help anywhere and at any time · Organized · A good time manager · Attention to detail · Independent problem solving · Good communication skills · Team leadership Expectations of All Staff: Christ-centered behavior at all times. i.e. treating people with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity. · Successful completion of a background check. · Pleasant and professional personality and appearance. · Attendance at all mandatory meetings (and events, as needed); including Staff Chapel and Sunday services · Signed acknowledgement of the Life Church handbook
