Description:

The construction coordinator is responsible for providing support to customers, construction staff and trade partners to ensure accurate and timely construction workflow. Prepare building permit application and all applicable forms to permitting service Track permit process and keep team up to date on progress Submit plans and applications to HOA’s where necessary Daily weekly updates to customers Communicate with and answer customer and trade partner questions as needed Process change orders Order building materials, supplies & fixtures Schedule county inspections Schedule customer meetings with the construction team Order surveys, soil reports and AC Calculations Initiate and submit all county paperwork to ensure a timely receipt of the certificate of occupancy Work with President & Project Managers to successfully complete any other tasks as needed


Qualifications:

5 Years admin experience 5 Years construction industry experience 1 Year permitting experience The ideal candidate will have proven experience working for a Builder or Construction company in a purchasing, coordinator, or administrative role. Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work. Incredible attention to detail and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. At least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
