Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES •Oversees all aspects of managing and growing the local chapter including strategy, financials, staffing, recruiting volunteers, and networking with churches and schools. •Develop annual strategic plan and budget, develop and implement long term plan to support reaching every school and child with the gospel. •Actively fundraise to support the ministry •Schedule routine meetings with Ministry Coordinators and staff to assist with developing and accomplishing goals. •Identify and establish relationships with local churches, businesses, organizations and schools to guarantee adequate finances and volunteers to grow the ministry. Pursue contact with pastors to secure church partnerships. •Assist Local Director in developing staffing plan, gain approval and recruit candidates. •Train and coach Ministry Coordinators •Enlist, train and develop volunteers to become a strong multi-staff team. •Develop Christian Youth in Action programs to recruit, mentor and support annual training and driving clubs. •Implement and grow an effective prayer program. •Provide routine status reports to the Local Director. •Attend all USA sponsored events as requested by the State Director. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED •Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. •Familiar with using the Internet to conduct searches and research •Years in ministry and/or non-profit preferred Pay based on experience. As a religious organization, Child Evangelism Fellowship is permitted and reserves the right to prefer employees or prospective employees on the basis of religion.


Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS Ability to manage all aspects of running a Child Evangelism Fellowship chapter area to include analysis, problem solving, planning and implementation; have an understanding of strategic planning, budgeting and fundraising; possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills; have experience with managing people/volunteers, have strong communication and networking skills along with good written, verbal and public speaking skills; is self-motivated, organized and can learn fast; is a creative thinker for ministry growth initiatives, must have a demonstrated love for Jesus Christ and prayer, and an unquestionable passion to reach kids with the gospel. Some travel is required.
