SUMMARY This is supervisory and participatory work in the set-up, cleaning, maintenance and repairs for all types of events at the RP Funding Center. Work schedule varies with days, evenings and weekend shifts. Work involves responsibility for supervising and participating in the work groups of semi-skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in the construction of various set ups needed for scheduled events, cleaning activities before, during, and after events and maintaining the facility and equipment in proper condition to host these various events. Work is performed under the direction of RP Funding management staff. RESPONSIBILITIES Organizes, assigns and supervises and participates in the work of semi-skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in setting up and erecting stages, tables, chairs, and other projects needed for events. Oversees the cleaning of the facilities and supervises subordinates in various maintenance projects associated with appearance of facility Assists in the scheduling the work activities as needed. Keeps track of assigned crews and sees that all duties are carried out. Operates equipment and trucks including cleaning and maintenance equipment. Constructs set-up of events requiring ability to follow plan layouts. Responsible for completing daily checklist and submitting it to his/her designated supervisor. Works late nights, early morning, weekends and holiday hours when needed to make set-ups or clean-ups. Performs related work as required. REQUIREMENTS Must have a high school diploma from an accredited school or its equivalent. Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high energy environment Must have at least 1 year of Event Setting or Event Planning Experience Must be able to work a flexible schedule, Including: days, nights, holidays, and weekends Must be able to organize and manage schedules accurately and consistently Must be physically able to work long and unusual hours/shifts Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of times, both indoors and outdoors Ability to deal with stressful situations effectively and with total control Must be able to keep the Set up Team engaged and enthusiastic about their work Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. frequently. Must be flexible and punctual Must have reliable transportation Drug screening and background check will be conducted at time of hire. PRIOR EVENT RELATED OR INDUSTRY SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
