Description:
The Residential Advocate is solely responsible for providing support to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation in our residential program.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Criminology, or other behavioral science.
Participate in continuing education standards including a minimum of eight hours training per year in trauma, substance abuse, and sex trafficking.
Experience in a licensed substance abuse treatment program, trauma-informed care program, post traumatic stress program OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provided the required knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred.
Experience working with survivors of sex trafficking is preferred.
Experience working in cross-cultural settings.
Clean driving record, required.
