Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Research Analyst to provide professional research and information services to support the fundraising goals and objectives of the company. Let’s get to work. Temporary Gainesville, FL Schedule: FT, M-F, 8a – 5p Salary: $19 - 21/hr Please email resumes to Lou Carlton – loucarlton@spherion.com RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collect, organize and analyze information relating to potential prospects for gifts - Analyze and interpret accumulated information to assess financial capacity, philanthropic tendencies, giving propensity and connections - Utilize a variety of printed reference materials, online databases, Internet, and governmental or other agency resources to obtain information on prospects or funding sources - Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the donor database, and retrieval of information - Prepare thorough, accurate and timely profiles on donor prospects according to Research report guidelines - Collaborate on proactive projects, goal setting and long term strategic planning for prospect identification and portfolio support - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: - Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience - 3+ years’ experience in finance, legal, real estate or education - Familiarity with standard research resources and information such as the internet, Lexis Nexis, iWave, SEC filings, wealth screenings - Knowledge of philanthropy and prospect research desirable - Strong computer skills (Excel and SQL preferred) and proficiency with electronic research (including Internet) and techniques to gather in-depth information on potential and existing donors desired - Experience with Microsoft Office Suites: Word, Power Point, Excel, MS Teams - Experience working with or for a non-profit helpful
