Quality Technician

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Quality Technician to provide day-to-day assistance in Manufacturing at their Newberry, FL facility. Let’s get to work. Temp to hire position Newberry, FL Schedule: M-F, 8am – 4:30pm Salary: $15 – 18/hr Please email resumes to Rose Crane – rosecrane@spherion.com RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work a flexible schedule (some weekends and on second shift) - Under general supervision, create / document corrective action procedures for the assembly operations on the shop floor - Test, troubleshoot, repair, and or modify electronic circuits using test equipment to accurately report RMA’s; GFR’s - Perform and inspect soldering activities following IPC-A -610 Class 2 standards - Identify / document training needs in each process area and schedule / conduct training as needed in such area - Assist manufacturing personnel with identification of assembly issues throughout the build process - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred, ASQ certified Quality Technician plus 4 years on directly related Battery Manufacturing experience - Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems to the component level - Experience in the use of basic electronic test equipment (i.e. multi-meter, oscilloscope) - Ability to solder electronic components - Ability to read schematics, flow charts, and signal diagrams - Experience in teaching in a “class room” environment - Excellent Word, Excel and Power Point skills
