Description:
We are seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team! You will perform secretarial, accounting and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Pro-Tek Services of Central Florida, Inc. is a subcontractor in Central Florida. We work very closely with General Contractors and others to provide the highest level of service. Over the last 35 years, we have become Central Florida's leader in pre-construction termite soil treatments. We are looking for a Full-Time, reliable, experienced, highly organized, self-driven individual with pest control and/or other subcontractor experience. Competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities: Ability to work 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Ability to respond to e-mail requests in a professional and efficient manner Tracking and following up with Commercial and Residential Annual Termite Renewals Perform cash-based accounting, including experience with Draw accounts Monthly pay applications on a variety of different platforms (Textura, CMIC, GC Pay, Procore, etc.) Issue Warranties Execute lien waivers Issue HUD forms (99B) Run monthly financial reports Process certified payroll for some projects via ELATIONS online platform Provide close out documents Fill out Pre-qualification forms Process credit card and check payments Write up deposit slip daily Input accurate data and send invoice billing through PestPac software Strong typing skills, ability to type at least 60 wpm, accurately and efficiently (proposals, letter to customers, etc.) Able to upload proposals to portals such as Building Connected, PlanHub, ProCore, SmartBid, etc. Manage Subcontracts, PO's and Work Orders Take payments and enter into PestPac software system Develop professional relationships with Project Managers, etc. Accurate bookkeeping - some on paper Help the business transition to either Quickbooks, Foundation or other accounting software Occasionally answer the phone and schedule services


Qualifications:
Reliable and Dependable Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and take direction, ability to follow instructions Strong computer skills Bookkeeping, Accounting and/or AR/AP experience Previous office experience in pest control, construction, concrete, electrical, plumbing or other subcontractor industry Basic knowledge of the construction process Excellent typing skills (at least 60 wpm) Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple accounts at once Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and Quickbooks Customer service and Sales experience is a plus Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work independently and stay on task without direct supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual is a plus Legible penmanship Strong attention to detail Strong spelling and English grammar skills Ability to quickly search digital blueprints and specs is an added bonus Must be able to pass random drug screens Non-smokers only please (including vapes)
