My Favorite Cranberry Chutney Recipe
Friday, November 15, 2019
If you're looking for something different and delicious for Thanksgiving, you've got to try my friend Jennifer's Cranberry Chutney recipe! It's so sweet and tangy. It has a wonderful combination of spices (cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg)! It's my ultimate favorite, and it's easy to make. Here's the recipe:
CRANBERRY CHUTNEY
In saucepan, combine:
- 1 (16 oz) can whole cranberry sauce;
- 1/2 cup raisins;
- 1/2 cup peeled, chopped apple;
- 1/4 cup sugar;
- 1/4 cup vinegar;
- 1/2 tsp each of ground allspice, ginger, cinnamon and a dash of ground cloves.
Stir well. Bring all ingredients in saucepan to a boil, then turn down the stove to low simmer. Stir and simmer the mixture for 15 minutes. Let cool. Enjoy!
