Description:
Seeking an Ophthalmology Assistant AND Technician interested in assisting in a VERY fast pace office. Responsibilities The Ophthalmic Medical Technician is responsible for collecting and recording ocular and systemic patient histories, visual acuities, BP, IOP, Auto refractions, Manifest Refractions, performing external examinations, and dry-eye testing, as well as disease specific extra testing.


Qualifications:
Required: Minimal of one year in Ophthalmology Preferred: · Certification · Certification through JCAHPO · Associates Degree - preferred Skills and Abilities: · Superior interpersonal and communications skills. · Ability to perform manifest refraction is required · Ability to perform Goldmann tonometry is required. · Ability to effectively multitask · Attentive to detail and accuracy.
