The Morning Cruise Replay - Peaches and Jesus

Monday, August 24, 2020

Today's show was all about "Peaches and Jesus"! Bill got us going with some wisdom on glorifying God while unemployed. And before we turned our focus to peaches,  we've got one eye on the Gulf of Mexico with 2 major storms headed towards Louisiana and another eye on students going back to school. Of course, coronavirus is only adding to the complexity of these issues.

Carmen has become a big fan of her air fryer and shared a 3-ingredient recipe for a peach dessert that she compared to a crustless peach cobbler. Of course, Bill had a question about the cinnamon she uses.

Dave's granddaughter is learning to try new foods. He shared a sweet moment of her eating baby corn like corn on the cob.

In only a way she can, Carmen answered a few questions that we've been getting. After all, "the one thing we need is peaches and Jesus!"

Bill shared an in-depth report on tips from nutritionists for feeding your kids whild distance learning.

Even though we're excited to try Carmen's 3-ingredient peach dessert, Dave cautioned us with a national recall on peaches.

Bill also shared a recipe for instant pot lentil soup, before he gave us his BIG Word of the Day.
